10th Entry: Katana sword cut through bullets

Hi. my entry today is about myth that Japanese sword can cut bullets. This might sound nonsense but it is true. Historically, katana were one of the traditionally made Japanese swords that were used in feudal Japan, also commonly referred to as a "samurai sword". Modern versions of the katana are sometimes made using non-traditional materials and methods. The katana is characterized by its distinctive appearance: a curved, slender, single-edged blade with a circular or squared guard and long grip to accommodate two hands. It has historically been associated with the samurai of feudal Japan.

However there are some that compared the ability of Katana sword and European Longsword. The legend of Katana sword had been proved. Some of this sword could cost a lot of money depend on it periods and history. This is because some of those sword are kept for a long generations.

Hi. today i would like to share with you with others myth that actually true. have you ever heard that black pepper can stop bleeding? this might sound weird to you but it is actually worked. Black pepper (Piper nigrum) has been valued for medicinal and culinary uses since the time of Hippocrates. It also is used in Ayurvedic (traditional Indian) medicine to treat a variety of ills. Normally we caution people to use pepper only for minor cuts and to get medical attention for serious wounds, but we are glad that it worked so well for your son-in-law’s injury.


Black pepper is naturally antibacterial and makes blood coagulate quickly and stop bleeding. Black pepper was commonly used by soldiers in the Second World War, and even today it is often used in professional kitchens (probably due to its availability) to stop cuts from bleeding.

8th Entry: Dogs give women breast cancer

Hi everyone, today i would like to share some myth which some believes that dogs and pigs are bad for health. This is actually true. as proven medically that pigs can cause health problems, today i will shared about dogs which likely will give a bad effect to our health.
Analysis of breast cancer cases by researchers at the University of Munich showed that patients with cancer of the breast were significantly more likely to have kept a dog than a cat. In fact, 79.7 per cent of all breast-cancer patients had regular contact with dogs before they were diagnosed. Only 4.4 per cent of the patients did not have pets at any time, compared to 57.3 per cent of a healthy control group. This, according to the researchers, shows a 29-fold increased risk for pet owners.
The researchers also point to another study in Norway, which reported a very high level – 53.3 per cent – of breast cancers in 14,401 dogs. The team then tried to isolate a virus that could be common to both dogs and humans.

The one they homed in on is the mouse mammary tumour virus or MMTV, which triggers breast cancer in mice, and has been investigated for possible links to human breast cancer. The theory is that dogs, and possibly other pets, harbour and transmit MMTV or MMTV-like viruses that can induce human breast cancer.
According to the researchers, the theory may help to explain why women from the Far East are at greater risk of breast cancer when they move to Western nations, because Asian or Oriental women seldom keep dogs as pets.

7th Entry: Toothpaste can help reduce pimples

Hi. today i would like to share about common problems among us. In general, everyone hate pimples because it does not look nice on face! Because of that, many willing to sacrifice everything to overcome this problem. But did you know that toothpaste can help reduce pimples.

Someone even having this problem for long period of time.

“Toothpaste contains alcohol, which has the ability to dry up pimples and reduce redness and swelling,” Goldman explains. Wash your hands and face to give yourself a clean surface to work with. Squeeze a small amount of toothpaste onto your ring finger – the finger you have the most control over, and therefore, the lightest touch – and dab a very thin layer over the blemish. Let the toothpaste dry for several hours. Peel off the dried layer carefully, without irritating the pimple, and continue with your regular skincare routine.

As a rule of thumb, the toothpaste trick is safe as long as the pimple is “brand new and tiny,” according to Dr. Krant. If a pimple has lingered for more than a day or begun to worsen, don't touch it! A regular skincare routine should help keep zits at bay and help them heal if they've already arrived. 6th Entry: Giant Squid

Hi. Have you ever heard about giant squid that possibly bigger than a building? Did you believe it existed in this world? The giant squid is a deep-ocean dwelling squid in the family Architeuthidae. Giant squid can grow to a tremendous size. Recent estimates put the maximum size at 13 m (43 ft) for females and 10 m (33 ft) for males from the posterior fins to the tip. The mantle is about 2 m (6.6 ft) long and the length of the squid excluding its tentacles is about 5 m (16 ft). Claims of specimens measuring 20 m (66 ft) or more have not been scientifically documented.

First encounter of a giant sea creature has washed ashore in California. First it was a rare oarfish that had grown to a freakish 100-foot length. This time it was a giant squid measuring a whopping 160 feet from head to tentacle tip.

These giants look different but experts believe they share one important commonality: they both come from the waters near the Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant in the Futaba District of Japan. Scientists believe that following the 2011 disaster at the Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant an unknown number of sea creatures suffered genetic mutations that triggered uncontrolled growth.

Second encounter of a giant squid was caught in a fishing net in Japan, off of Sadogashmia Island in Niigata Prefecture.The squid was discovered after Shigernori Goto, a fisherman, pulled up a fishing net that was set at a depth 229 feet.The squid died when it was hauled to the surface.It measured 19 feet in length and weighed just over 330 pounds.

5th Entry: Noah's Ark

Hi everyone. How about my previous entry? Did you enjoyed reading it? Today i will continue with my 5th myth that happens to be true which is about Noah's Ark. Noah ark is describes as a big ark that carries a million living things during the horrendous flood long time ago. Even though there are few agencies claimed that this myth is nonsense, however they don't have a strong argument to against it. This story has been repeated in different religions but tells almost the same stories. Bible for Christian's and Quran for Muslim's also stated this incident.

Then God said to Noah,  “Come out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and their wives. 17 Bring out every kind of living creature that is with you the birds, the animals, and all the creatures that move along the ground so they can multiply on the earth and be fruitful and increase in number on it.”

and Noah called out to his son, who had separated himself (from the rest):
"O my son! embark with us, and be not with the unbelievers!"

The son replied: "I will betake myself to some mountain: it will save me from the water."
Noah said: "This day nothing can save, from the command of Allah,
any but those on whom He hath mercy!" And the waves came between them,
and the son was among those overwhelmed in the Flood.

In recent years there have been some renewed attempts to locate the Ark.

4th Entry: Giant Human

Assalammualaikum and hi to all. This time I would like to talk 4th myth which is Giant. Giant is simply describes as human with abnormally big compared to normal human. Giant is the English word (coined 1297) commonly used for the monsters of human appearance but prodigious size and strength common in the mythology and legends of many different cultures. The word Giant was derived from one of the most famed examples: the gigantes of Greek mythology.


There are many discovery found related to existence of this creatures. It is unknown why scientists have remained silent about the discovery of 18 giant human skeletons which were found in burial grounds in the state of Wisconsin back in May of 1912. They were in mounds next to Lake Delavan, Wisconsin. The excavation site was supervised by Beloit College. The allegedly massive size of the skeletons and lengthened skulls did not fit into any scientific concept that was in textbooks of the day. They were massive and not believed to be any type of normal human beings.

These alleged findings were first reported on May 4, 1912. It stated that these skeletons had heights which ranged from 7.6 feet up to 10 feet and the skulls were much bigger than the heads of any type of person who lived inside America today. The story also said the skulls had double rows of teeth, six toes on each foot and six fingers on each hand.

In 2002, National Geographic did a report on 12 skeletons that were supposedly discovered in Greece. They were measured at heights between 12 to 15 feet tall. Was this as well as the find in Wisconsin some kind of joke? People trying to get attention for the press? The truth is no one knows the answer. The find in Wisconsin was only one of many dozens of finds that have been reported in national and local newspapers from all the way back in 1850 moving forward to today. Those were not even the first set of skeleton giants discovered in Wisconsin.

3rd Entry: Mermaid

Hi. For my third entry I would like to talk about another myth that likely happens to be true. Have you ever heard about Mermaid? Even when we were a child we use to watch a fairytale story about beautiful mermaid. Some said that they are existed while some don’t. A mermaid is a legendary aquatic creature with the upper body of a female human and the tail of a fish. Mermaids appear in the folklore of many cultures worldwide, including the Near East, Europe, Africa and Asia. Mermaids are sometimes associated with perilous events such as floods, storms, shipwrecks and drownings. Mermaids are associated with the mythological Greek sirens as well as with sirenia, a biological order comprising dugongs and manatees. Some of the historical sightings by sailors may have been misunderstood encounters with these aquatic mammals.

Mermaids have been a popular subject of art and literature in recent centuries, such as in Hans Christian Andersen's well-known fairy tale "The Little Mermaid" (1836). They have subsequently been depicted in operas, paintings, books, films and comics.

One of the earliest scientific accounts of the mermaid was documented by the great historian Pliny The Elder in 586 A.D. Pliny the Elder was convinced of the existence of Mermaids and described them as “rough and scaled all over.” Since that time, and well before, thousands of sailors across the globe have reported seeing the Mermaid swimming off the bows of their ships. Even the famous Christopher Columbus reported an encounter with a Mermaid; in January of 1493 Columbus reported that he saw three Mermaids frolicking in the ocean just off Haiti.

In Columbus’s account he stated that the creatures “came quite high out of the water” but were “not as pretty as they are depicted, for somehow the face looked more like a mans.” In the antiquated historical text known as the “Speculum Regale” also known as the King’s Mirror, which was written in Norway around 1250, the Mermaid is described not as a beautiful women, but more as a semi aquatic Neanderthal like creature

2nd Entry: Vampire

Hi to all. After you have read my first entry, i hope you are interested to read my second entry. If before this I talk about Electric Man, now i have another myth that discovered are existed. I this entry I would share about myth that quite famous around us. Even in the modern worlds, Vampire are illustrated as coo,, handsome and gentle creatures but Vampire actually are named as their character that scary, blood sucker, and immortal. Vampire is a mythical being who subsist by feeding on the life essence (generally in the form of blood) of living creatures. Infolkloric tales, undead vampires often visited loved ones and caused mischief or deaths in the neighborhoods they inhabited when they were alive. they wore shrouds. they describes as bloated and of ruddy or dark countenance. Vampire was found since the early 1800s. Although vampires entities have been recorded in most cultures, the term vampire was not popularized until the early 18th century. First real-life vampire discovered is Julia Caples a Mother of two Children. In a month, she drinks almost two litres of blood from willing human donors.

The 45-year-old has been sucking blood for over 30 years while bringing up her two children, Alexi, 11 and Ariel, 24. Care-­worker Julia 'hunts' for willing 'donors' -­fellow vampire fans willing to let Julia drink from them -­at her local occult and oddities store.

During drinking sessions at her Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania home, Julia carefully cuts them with a pagan-­like sterilised knife she designed herself.

She believes that guzzling down the the lifeblood from others keeps her feeling young and vigorous -­just like ageless vampires from cult movies.

"When I feed off of a person and drink their blood I feel stronger and healthier," she said.

"I know scientifically there's not a lot nutrition in blood, but maybe there's some value we haven't discovered yet.

"I feel more beautiful than any other time when I'm regularly drinking.

"I'm also extremely healthy with no major health problems, and I have an abundance of energy all the time.

"At times I've drunk half-­a-­gallon a month."

1st Entry: Electrics man

Have you ever heard about peoples that have electrics power in their body?  We often saw it in the movies about people that can extract an electrics charge from their body. There are usually portrayed as mutants or superhero in the movies. Surprisingly, these kinds of people really exist in this world. Many cases were reported related to people with this kind of ability.

First case was reported in Indonesia. Magus of java or his real name is John Chang called as Electric Eel man is a incredible Indonesian healer who reportedly possessed this kind of ability. This ability is called Nei Kun.

Mr Chang first presented to the world in an award-winning documentary called The Ring of Fire, by brothers Lawrence and Lorne Blair. He requested his identity to be protected. Chang was referred to as Dynamo Jack. In this documentary he showed the world how he uses chi to heal his patients, sending electric impulses through their bodies and even treated Lorne for his eye infection. All he needed todo was touch certain areas of a person's body. After that, the electricity willpassed through them will causing uncontrollable twitches. But his power was so strong he needed an assistant to hold the patient's body and ground them.

Ma Xiangang can light a bulb with his bare hand. He also can control electrical currents. He is a man who isn't afraid of electricity.

Ma Xiangang, an ordinary man living in Daqing, a city in northeastern China's Heilongjiang province, has a strange gift of being able to touch electricity without being shocked. He can touch 220-volt electric wires without any protection and appear as if it is nothing. 

On a recent TV program, Ma held two electric wires in his hands and easily lit a bulb. 

Ma learned about his gift 15 years ago. One day, while watching TV with his wife, the television suddenly went out. Ma checked it and found a wire outside had been broken by the wind. Ma picked up the broken wire. He first touched the ends tentatively. He felt no electricity, so he connected the two broken ends together. 

After he fixed the broken line, Ma suddenly realized it was not normal. The wire carried electricity, but he fixed it with his bare hands. 

"Why am I not affected by electricity?" Ma asked himself. 

He decided to try again and finally learned direct contact with electricity does not harm him. Instead, it makes him energetic. 

Gradually, Ma became addicted to touching electricity and learned to control the voltage passing through his body. Ma can now use his specialty to conduct electrotherapy and massage for others. 

Ma's special powers have also drawn the attention of experts. After careful analysis, experts believe the secret lies in Ma's hands. The skin of his hands is much rougher and drier than others, functioning like a pair of insulated gloves. His tough skin prevents most of the electricity from entering Ma's body. The actual current passing through Ma's body only contains six milliamperes, while the safety limits for ordinary people is 8-10 milliamperes. 

However, experts also remind Ma to be careful, for they are not sure whether the electricity will do any harm to him in the future.

There are many similar cases happen around the world. this great people actually exist in the real world. So there is no doubt that some myth might comes true. Thanks for reading.
